Conductors' Workshop

Conducting at Malton

Sunday 6th December 2009

from 9.30am.

The Bandroom of the Friendly Band.

Water Hill Lane,  Sowerby Bridge,  Halifax.  HX6 2UG 

Tutor:   Richard Evans.

 

The day will consist of tuition on all aspects of conducting and includes a practical conducting session with the Friendly Band for the students. 

All refreshments and a light lunch provided.

Cost:  £25 inclusive.

The programme for the day is as follows:

9.30 –10.00am  Arrival & coffee.
10.00am till 12.30pm  Instruction from Richard on all aspect of the conductor’s art.
12.30 till 1.30pm   Lunch.
1.30  till 3.30pm Practice on the band.
3.30pm onwards  Debrief & discussion

         

All refreshments & a light lunch will be provided.
